Adjust the Lens Aperture
If the lens does not have an aperture ring
Example:
Nikon ED AF-S NIKKOR 70-300mm
1:4.5.6G
Since the mount aperture ring indicator mark (●) is a target, adjust while checking the actual
• E type lenses that use an electro-magnetic aperture cannot be used with this
camera.
Adjust the aperture with the mount aperture ring
•Turn the mount aperture ring to adjust the aperture.
Turn in the direction of CLOSE to stop the aperture.
•The image will get darker
•The depth of field will get deeper (the range of
focus will be wider)
Turn in the direction of OPEN to open the aperture.
• image will get brighter
•The depth of field will get shallower (the range of
focus will be narrower)
