Transmitting Data
Data Transmission in Screen Units
Procedure 1. Set the PT to the "Transmit Mode".
Reference: After aborting data transmission part way through, initialize the screen data
Whether or not data communication in screen units is possible depends on the PT
model used. For details, see "Types of Data Communication with Each PT Model"
(p.185).
Check that writing to the screen data memory is possible.
2. Locate the bar cursor at the screen to be transmitted on the "Screen Selection"
screen.
When transmitting multiple screens, "mark" the appropriate screens. For de-
tails on using the marking function, see 3-5 "Screen Selection Screen" (p.31).
If transmitting numeral or character-string memory table data only, it does not
matter where the bar cursor is.
3. Press [F10] (Next), then [F6] (Tmx).
4. Specify either "Screen Data" or "Memory Table" as the data to be transmitted,
and press the
key.
5. Specify whether or not verification (writing check) is to be executed, then press
the
key.
6. A confirmation message will be displayed.

To abort transmission, press the [Esc] key.
7. Transmission will start.
On completion of transmission, the message "Data successfully transmitted"
is displayed.
