The Reference Channel

When auto gain is active, the HP 3563A adjusts the level of the swept sine source output to maintain
the specified reference level (entered with
constant input signal level can be maintained to the system under test. By seleeting Channel 2 as the
reference, a constant signal level can be maintained at the output of the system under test. The
reference level can be set from 5 mV to 3 1 .5Vpk.
