Viewi n g the Input Signals
The
VIEW INPUT
hardkey allows you to look at the input signals before they are filtered to a
reduced frequency span, triggered, or measured. These
time, even if the measurement is in progress or completed. Instantaneous displays can be used to
verify the presence of input signals or to compare an input signal with a measurement display.
Instantaneous displays are also helpful when manually setting the input range. Chapter
"Measurement Overview," explains how these displays are derived and how they differ from
filtered-input and measurement displays (remember, filtered-input displays are not available in the
log resolution mode).
