The Run Time Log

This log records data errors that occur during normal operation. Because the error correction
circuitry is enabled during normal operation, the run time log does not show correctable errors.
Other than that, it records and shows the same information

You should first read the run time log to see if the ERT needs to be run. It also can be used in
conjunction with the ERT and its log to help you locate and spare bad blocks on media. Refer to the
next section, "Sparing Blocks," for instructions.
