© Most of the data set using the SET UP MENU can be stored
on the memory card.
® Setting is not possible when a title is on the screen, or during
tape playback or recording.
Selection of menus and sub-menus
1. Open the function box cover by pushing the unlock lever to
the rear.
2. Press the MENU button.
The MENU is displayed on the viewfinder screen, with the
cursor (white square) blinking to the left of a number.
3. Press the CURSOR " 4" or "WY" button so that the cursor
blinks against No.4
4. Press the SET button.
5. Move the cursor to the desired item with the CURSOR " 4"
or" Y" button.
6. Press the SET button.
The parameter screen will be called up.
Altering parameter data
7. Select the parameter item with the CURSOR buttons.
@ The data of the selected parameter item will blink.
@ With some menus, there are two parameter pages. (See
the figure.)
8. Set the data by pressing the DATA buttons.
The DATA button functions in the following three ways
according to the selected parameter:
© Changes data in steps (eg. 0 dB + 9 dB > 18 dB).
© Changes the analog value of the data (eg. —99 to +99).
+: Increase
—: Decrease
® Switches on or off.
9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 as required.
10.After completion of all settings, press the MENU button
three times to return to the original screen (camera signal).

Sub-menu name
