REPLACING THE CLOCK BACKUP BATTERY
The clock backup battery is used to retain the built-in clock and
hour meter data even while the power is off.
When the clock backup battery is exhausted, the time and hour
meter data are lost when the power is switched off, and are
initialized when the power is switched on again. To avoid this, it
is recommended that you replace the battery once a year.
Replacing procedure
Be sure to replace the battery while the power is on, otherwise
the data will be lost.
1. Pull out the clock battery compartment cover.
The battery will come out with the cover.
2. Install a battery with the correct polarity. The "+"
terminal should be up.
Usable batteries
JVC's CR-2025
or a lithium battery for a clock (DC 3 V), equivalent to the
CR-2025.
