If you are going to edit footage recorded with this unit using
the JVC BR-S811 and BR-S611 S-VHS recorders, use the
AEQ function to obtain better dubs.
An AEQ on/off switch is provided inside the unit.
Prior to
shipment, this switch is preset to ON.
When the AEQ switch is set to ON, a reference signal is
recorded during the blanking period of the video signal
being recorded. When a tape recorded in this way is played
back on the BR-S811 and BR-S611, the AEQ circuit in these
machines will perform frequency compensation according to
the recorded
reference signal, thereby improving the
dubbing quality.
@ The reference signal is recorded on line 17 during the
vertical blanking period. If this is not appropriate for
some reason, the reference signal recording position
can be changed or the AEQ switch can be set to OFF.
For more information, consult the dealer from whom
you purchased this unit or a JVC dealer.

The selected shutter speed will be displayed for
a few seconds on the viewfinder screen.

button. (The LED will go off.)

Brighter lighting is necessary when using high shutter
speeds. Do not use high shutter speeds in dimly lit places.

mode than in the normal shutter mode. This also changes
the depth of focus.
@ When the high speed mode is used under fluorescent
lighting, the picture may flicker.
