POWER SUPPLY
e Before
recording,
charge
the battery
pack.
It is
recommended that several charged battery packs are kept
at hand as spares.
® To charge the battery pack, use an optional AC power
adapter. For the charging procedure refer to the instruction
manual of the optional AC power adapter.
Using the AA-P250 AC power adapter

To install the battery pack
1. Open the cover while pressing the buttons.
2. Swing out the battery retainer.
3. Install the battery pack with its terminals facing the camera.
(The illustration shows an NB-G1 battery pack.)
4. Replace the battery retainer and close the cover.
lf the cover is closed without replacing the battery
retainer, the battery retainer may be damaged.
Operating time
A fully charged battery pack offers the following continuous
operating time at 25°C:
NB-G1:
Approx. 30 minutes
The operating time may be shorter than this depending on the
battery storage condition and ambient temperature.
e The battery condition can be checked on the viewfinder
screen. (See page 31.)
@ When the battery pack is becoming low, a warning indicator
appears. (See page 23)
When this indicator is seen,
replace the battery pack with a charged one.
© Do not leave the battery pack in a place subject to high
temperatures, as this could damage
it and make it |
unusable.
1. Connect the camera head to the AC power adapter using
the cable provided with the AC power adapter.
2. Set the switch to CAMERA.
3. Set the POWER switch of the AC power adapter to ON.
Do not use power units other than specified, otherwise
the recorder may stop due to a temporary drop in power
because of the operation of the protective circuit.
