2.5 Sensors and auxiliaries
Temperature (RTD) sensors, pressure sensors, and the heaters all
have designated connections. See section 1.4 for the position and
description of the connectors.
To connect cables, line the connector up with the locater tab, push the
connector firmly into place, and then screw the knurled nut down for a
secure connection.
2.6 Pumps
The pumps on the G3Lite are Watson-Marlow Series 114, 313, or 520
pump heads. The size is determined by the requirements of the user
and the process.
Both the 114-series (Figure 2.8) and 313-series (Figure 2.9) pump heads
are opened by raising the curved top cover. The 520-series pump
(Figure 2.10) is larger and requires a flathead screwdriver to open.
