2.8 Connecting a bioreactor vessel

Power through the controller is sufficient to run all the equipment
associated with a 50 L S.U.B. Please ensure that the appropriate
adapter based on voltage from the IEC 60309 (blue) connector to the
6-pin gray connector is in place.
Note: At 120 V, power through the controller is NOT sufficient to run all
the equipment associated with a 100 L S.U.B. If you are using a 100 L
S.U.B. on 120 V, ensure that the S.U.B. has a G3Lite External Heater
Power box rated for the correct wall and heater voltages. For low and
medium power sub configurations, the power can be drawn from
the G3Lite. The G3Lite can be updated to reflect the configuration in
Table 2.2.
At 240 V, power through the controller is sufficient to run all the
equipment associated with a 100 L S.U.B. If you are using a 100 L
S.U.B. on 240 V, ensure that the appropriate adapter from the IEC
60309 (blue) connector to the 6-pin connector is in place.

2.9 Agitator

If using an AC agitator, the connector cable exits the controller from
the upper right side panel. This cable attaches directly to the AC
motor junction box or to a mating cable as appropriate. If the size of
the vessel is different from what the controller is originally configured
for, please contact Thermo Fisher Scientific for reprogramming of the
variable frequency drive (VFD).
Connection for a D Agitator is on the lower end of the main connectors
shown in section 1.4. This is a double connector, with one connector
for the signal and the other for power to control a motor.
