Thermo Scientific
If three (3) or more G3Lite units are networked, the ProPlus workstation
should be housed separately (Operator Workstation), and the DeltaV
Historian also be separate (Application Workstation). This will allow the
Historian to handle the information created by the additional vessels.
See the diagram below.
When networking multiple G3Lite units, the TruBio software
configuration should be set up to accommodate the network and
should comply with cGMP practices. Contact Thermo Fisher Scientific
to ensure proper setup.
The HMI monitor may be mounted on the bracket at the top of the unit
or it may be remotely located. It Is connected to either the ProPlus or
the Operator Workstation.
An optional wireless network can also be implemented using DeltaV
Terminal Services, and a wireless tablet PC can be used to interface
with the G3Lite. Consult your Thermo Scientific representative for
further information on this option.
