Memory

Matrox 4Sight XV6 supports 1.2 V, unbuffered, PC3-12800-compliant
Long-DIMM DDR4 SDRAM. Matrox 4Sight XV6 ships with either one or two
8-Gbyte DDR4 SDRAM modules that are non-ECC Long-DIMM, and run at
2400 Mbps or 2666 Mbps. The XV6I5M32CT model comes with two 16-Gbyte
DDR4 SDRAM modules.
 Note that, the Intel processor installed in your Matrox 4Sight XV6 follows the
JEDEC memory specification. The specified voltage for DDR4 memory,
according to JEDEC specification, is 1.2 V. Therefore, you must only use DDR4
memory modules that can be powered at 1.2 V.

Default storage drive

• M.2 solid state drive (SSD).
• Minimum storage capacity: 120 Gbytes.
• The XV6I5M32CT model includes a second 2.5' SSD.
 Note that drive specifications are subject to change without notice.

Fans

The fans, which are used to cool the unit, operate at speeds controlled by the
on-board fan controller, based on the temperatures of the processor and the
motherboard.
 Note that when the unit is first turned on, or restarted, the fans will initially operate
at their maximum speed.

Air filter

The Matrox 4Sight XV6 unit contains a polyurethane air filter. The air filter will
need to be cleaned on a regular basis. If you operate your Matrox 4Sight XV6 in
a dusty environment, you might notice that the unit is overheating, or that the
fan is running faster and noisier than usual. These are indicators that the filter
needs to be cleaned. For information on how to clean it, refer to the Cleaning the
air filter section, in Chapter 3: Cleaning the air filter and adding devices to
Matrox 4Sight XV6.
