Van Gogh
•
The rail of the Van Gogh chair lift is mounted on the outher
side of the stairs.
•
The maximum rail length is 35 metres.
•
Both forward and reverse bends can be incorporated in a
single length of Van Gogh and Rembrandt rail.
•
The inner side of the stairs can still be used by other users,
in particular when a handrail is fitted on the inner side.
•
More time required for the trip.
•
Lower on the stairs.
•
In the event of obstacles on the inner side of the stairs.
•
Minimum width of stairs 690 mm.
•
Maximum of 2 landings.
•
Overhead clearance less critical.
•
Installation almost always feasible.

Rembrandt
•
The rail of the Rembrandt chair lift is mounted on the inner

side of the stairs.
•
The maximum rail length is 35 metres.
•
Both forward and reverse bends can be incorporated in a
single length of the Rembrandt rail.
•
The outer side of the stairs can still be used by other users.
•
Less time required for the trip.
•
Higher on the stairs. Maximum allowed distance between
footrest and nose of the step is 40 cm (EN 81-40).
•
In the event of obstacles on the outer side of the stairs.
•
Minimum width of stairs 770 mm.
•
Multiple landings (Vermeer).
•
Overhead clearance more critical.
•
No view on the stairs during the ride.
