1. Press and hold the
'***Machine Menu***' is displayed after 8 seconds.

[PROG] button repeatedly until '-> Settings' is displayed.
2. Press the
[START] button.
3. Press the
'SOUND / BELL = on' or 'SOUND / BELL = off' is displayed.

[PROG] button repeatedly until 'RCF Integral = on' or 'RCF
4. Press the
Integral = off' is displayed.
[Rotary knob] to set 'off' or 'on' .
5. Use
off = integral RCF disabled
on = integral RCF enabled.
6. Press the [START] button.
�� The setting is stored.
'Store Settings ...' is displayed briefly
'-> Settings' is then displayed.
7. Press the [OPEN/STOP] button once to exit the 'Settings menu'
or
[OPEN/STOP] button twice to exit the 'Machine Menu' .

The relative centrifugal force RCF is dependent on the speed and the centri-
fuging radius.
The relative centrifugal force RCF is stated as a multiple of the acceleration
due to gravity (g).
The relative centrifugal force RCF is a dimensionless numerical value and is
used to compare the separation and sedimentation performance.
RCF = Relative Centrifugal Force
RPM = speed
r = centrifuging radius in mm = distance from the centre of the axis of
rotation to the bottom of the centrifuge tube.
The relative centrifugal force RCF is dependent on the centrifuging radius
RAD. The centrifuging radius must be set before setting the relative centri-
fugal force.
