15.3.3 Installation of M12 control cables (M type)
15.3.3.1 Protective caps
The M12 control connections are covered with protective caps during
manufacture
If any of the connections will not be used for control, leave the protective
caps in place of a control cable for added protection of the product. A
picture of the cap is illustrated in the picture:
15.3.3.2 M12 control cable installation procedure
Follow the procedure below to connect the M12 control cables.
1 Isolate the pump from its power supply
2 Carry out any control system wiring using the information in part 1 of this chapter
3 Connect the M12 connector to the appropriate location on the pump
4 Turn the screw thread by hand until it is tight
5 Check the cable is secure
6 Reconnect the power supply to the pump
