4. Selecting |
Original Tone
You can change the Original Tones in each Patch to make the Patch completely different. Let's iy that. following the procedure below to

explained in the previous section, "Turning the ist and 2nd Tones On and Off" (e P. 3-6).
@ Press the ORIGINAL TONE
button.
The "IST" box in the display will start 1o flash. indicating that this is the screen for selecting the
Original Tone.
"1S7" = ready to select Original Tone for the ist Tone

In this example. Tone 00 "A PIANOLT" has been selected.
(©; When things look like this in the display, press the VALUE
and
buttons to scroll
ihrough Patch number values.
There are 200 Original Tones to choose from.
Play each Tone on your guitar until you come to one that's close to the what you're looking for. If you
need to, check the "Original Tone List" (£7 P. 9-16).
® When you've found the Tone you like, press}
EXIT/NO

This ends the procedure. You have now changed the Original Tone assigned 10 the Ist Tone.
The 2nd Tone can be changed in exactly the same way. Just return to Step (P and change it so only the
2nd Tone is heard. Continue with Step È to change the Original Tone of the 2nd Tone.
* Unless you save this Original Tone selection, it will revert to the previous Tone as soon as
you select a different Patch. If you want to save the selection, perform a Patch Write
(cr P. 3-14).
