stored in memory, so take the unit to the store you bought it from or the nearest
Roland service center (17 inside back cover).

What to do : Follow the procedure in the Memory Card manual for replacing the battery.
Cause
: There is currently no Memory Card inserted in the Card slot, or the inserted Card is
not alj the way in.
What to do : Check to see that the Card is properly inserted
Cause
: The Card currently in the Card slot has not been formatted for use on the OR - 1. You
will also see this message if you have inserted a Card not intended for use on the GR -

What to do : If it is a card that can be used on the GR- 1, format the Card
for the GR - 1
(zr P.7-}3).

Cause
: The Memory Card Protect tab is set to On.
What to do : If you want to write to this card. set the Protect tab to Off.
