3.4 Features

Power derating
For a safe operation, the inverter will automatically reduce the output power when the operating
environment is not ideal. The following are factors that may cause power derating, please try to
avoid them when the inverter is working.
• Unfavorable environmental conditions, e.g., direct sunlight, high temperature, etc.
• Inverter's output power percentage has been set.
• Changes in the voltage and frequency of the grid.
• The input voltage is too high.
• The input current is too high.
AFCI Detection Function (optional)
The AFCI detection function is used to detect the arc status on the DC side of the inverter. When
arcing occurs, it is prohibited to connect the inverter to the grid.
Reasons for generating electric arcs:
• The connector in the photovoltaic system is damaged.
• Cable connection error or damage.
• Aging of connectors and cables.
Arc detection method:
• When the inverter detects an arc, the fault type can be viewed through the inverter's display
screen or App.
