3.4 Functionalities

AFCI (Optional)
AFCI functionality is to detect the DC electric arc fault. If there is any, the inverter is able to
enable self-protection automatically.
Reasons why electric arcs occur:
• Damaged DC connectors or poor connected DC connectors in PV system.
• Wrong connected or broken cables.
• Aging connectors and cables.
Method to detect electric arcs:
• When the inverter detects an electric arc, users can check the fault via LCD or SolarGo App.
• When electric arc is detected, the inverter alarms and shuts down for protection. After
waiting around 60 S, the inverter will resume grid connection automatically. If the shutdown
protection repeats , please check the inverter wiring to eliminate the electric arc.For details,
