HORZ
When in the VCG Window Select Mode, press this key and turn the SHAFT ENCODER
knob to position the highlighted character window horizontally on the screen. (See also
section 3.7.3.)
When not in the VCG Window Select Mode, press this key and turn the SHAFT ENCODER
knob to position all the character windows horizontally on the screen. (See also section
3.7.4.)
VERT
When in the VCG Window Select Mode, press this key and turn the SHAFT ENCODER
knob to position the highlighted character window vertically on the screen. (See also section
3.7.3.)
When not in the VCG Window Select Mode, press this key and turn the SHAFT ENCODER
knob to position all the character windows vertically on the screen. (See also section 3.7.4.)
3.1.5. The Function Button Group
ANC GEN Is used to turn the RP188 ancillary generator on and off. The ANC GEN indicator is ON
when the RP188generator is enabled. The time and user bits of the RP188 generator are
the same as for the primary LTC generator.
JAM
Is used to momentarily jam the primary reader's time into the generator time. When the
SHIFT + JAM keys are pressed the HD9010-SIE generator will be put into continuous jam
sync mode. See section 3.6.1 for information about selecting the primary reader.
HOLD
When the generator time (GTM) is displayed on the front panel, pressing the HOLD key
stops the generator time from incrementing. A special character ( H ) appears to the left of
the numeric display on the front panel, indicating that the display is in Hold mode. Pressing
the HOLD key again starts the generator incrementing.
When one of the readers is displayed on the front panel, pressing the HOLD key freezes the
reader display data on the front panel and in the VCG. A special character ( F ) appears to
the left of the numeric display on the front panel, indicating that the display is in Freeze
mode. Press the HOLD key again to return to normal update mode.
3.1.6. The Preset Button Group
SAVE
Is used to save the current configuration of the HD9010 into one of the user preset
memories. The Front panel prompts you to enter the preset number you want to load
Use the numbered keys to select the preset memory to save into. The front panel shows
the preset memory to save to, and the current video standard.
To select another preset memory press one of the numbered keys. To confirm saving the
preset press the SELECT key. The front panel shows
