ly. The manufacturer accepts no liability for any is-
sues that may occur due to non-observance of
this operating manual.
Please pay particular attention to the information
symbols.

Important information

modification of the unit, alterations to the name-
plate, or opening of the housing will result in a loss
of conformity and void the warranty.
Rotoclear, Rotoclear S3 and "Insights in Sight" are

many and other countries.
Optimisations by the manufacturer
The product is subject to a continuous optimis-
ation process. At the manufacturer's discretion,
changes may be made to the geometry, connec-
tions, and interfaces which do not change the
basic concept of the product. The manufacturer is
under no obligation to actively inform customers
about non-functional adjustments to the product.
Intended use
The intended use of the Rotoclear S3 extends to
applications in metal-cutting machine tools, in
particular milling machines and lathes or the cor-
responding closed environments in which media
such as cooling lubricants, oils, water, rinsing and
cleaning fluids are used.
In environments of this kind, visibility is impaired
or obstructed by the media spraying or splashing
onto the window or protective screen. The spin-
ning window of the Rotoclear S3 continuously
flings away any incoming particles or liquids to-
wards the outside to ensure a clear view through
the pane. This requires the purge air to be per-
manently connected to the spinning window (in
accordance with the Rotoclear seal guarantee).
The rotor disc must also rotate constantly to pro-
duce the self-cleaning effect while the machine is
switched on.
The stream of cooling lubricant must not be aimed
directly or targeted at the spinning window.
The unit must not be operated under water or
cooling lubricant, neither completely nor partially.
