6-6. Belt tension adjustment
1. Pass the tension gauge (UKOGMS5001BCZZ) through the square
hole in the main frame R. Pull the CR motor frame tab with a
tension of 700g (100g), and tighten the screws.

[7] ELECTRICAL SET UP
'The program in the CPU and the gate array can be set to the default
of each destination by shorting or non-shorting jumper switch DSW1
1-pin through 4-pin and jumper contact (J3 ~ J5) on the rear surface
of the Main board.
The setup procedures are shown below: (For the default of each
destination, refer to "DESTINATION TABLE" in the Parts Guide.)
7-1. Default select jumper contact (J3, J4, J5)
'The default select switch is provided to select the default on turning
'on the power. The assigned ports and the default contents are as
follows:

By reading data from address 3FF8, the destination data can be read.
The data format is as follows. When the switch is on, the content is
"0."

7-3. LCD contrast fine adjustment
(& This adjustment is required whenever the LCD PWB was
replaced.)
* Whatis needed: Screwdriver

(Steps)
1. Open the LCD cabinet according to the disassembly and re-as-
sembly procedures.
2. Connect the LCD cable with the main PWB, then turn power on.
3. Rotate the brightness control knob fully down.
4. Rotate the contrast control knob up, then set it to the center
position.
5. Insert the screwdriver in the contrast adjusting pot (Fig.1) found
on the back of the LCD cabinet and rotate the potentiometer VR2
to obtain the optimum contrast. (Fig.2) $Set it to the middle point
between tne upper and lower limits of the contrast.

As NOTE:
Never touch the inverter PWB when adjusting fe con-
trast because the PWB has a high voltage added.
[8] LUBRICATIONS
1. Apply a small quantity (about 2g) of screw grease (UKOG-
0185CSZZ) to the blocked area (A) of spring plate (2) in the rear
of the upper cabinet.
