Reassembly procedure
Observe the reverse sequence of the disassembly procedure.

8-5. Carriage base unit
Disassembly procedure
(1) Remove the mechanical unit.
For details, refer to Paragraph [5]-5, Mechanical unit.
(2)
Remove the carriage unit.
For details, refer to Paragraph 8-2, Carriage unit.
(3)
Remove the ribbon holder unit.
For details, refer to Paragraph 8-3, Ribbon holder unit.
(4)
Remove the motor plate unit.
For details, refer to Paragraph 8-4, Motor plate unit.
(5) Now, see Fig, 5-38.
(6)
Push the pawl of the lever latch @ in the direction (G) and
remove it towards the direction (H).
(7) Push four pawls of the tape feed lever © in the direction (K) and
remove the pawls in the direction (L).
(8)
Push the pawl of the @ R adjuster in the direction (I) and
remove it in the direction (J).
(9) Push the pawl of the @ carriage base in the direction (M),
release from the lock of the @ carriage board, and remove it in
the direction (N).
Reassembly procedure
Observe the reverse sequence of the disassembly procedure.
