8-3. Ribbon holder unit
Disassembly procedure
(1) Open the top cabinet as shown in Fig. 5-18.

(2) As shown in Fig. 5-19, pull out the adjust pin @ in the arrow
direction (A) and lift up the ribbon holder unit @ in the arrow
direction (B).
(3) Remove the section (C) of the ribbon holder unit from the sec-
tion (E) of the carriage base @ as shown with the arrowhead
(D).
(4)
Separate the ribbon holder unit © from the carriage body.
