4.2.13.3. Combination of fieldbus interface and I/O interface

Redundant line topology with universal redundancy behaviour according to AUMA
redundancy type I.
Redundant line topology with universal and synchronous redundancy behaviour
according to AUMA redundancy type II.
Redundant loop topology in combination with SIMA 2 Master Station
For detailed information to redundancy types: refer to Manual "PROFOX device in-
tegration Modbus RTU".
Connection type
Process representation is to be exclusively guaranteed. User parameters, other
parameters as well as timely behaviour of the application are not guaranteed. This
means that replacing an actuator with another type of actuator will have a certain
impact on the DCS.
Default value: Default
Setting values:
Default process representation
Process representation is compatible with AC 01.1 actuator controls.
Control via Modbus RTU
The actuator can be controlled via the process representation output.

For further information, refer to Manual "PROFOX Device integration Modbus RTU".
Signals via Modbus RTU
The feedback signals via Modbus RTU can be read using the appropriate Modbus
function codes.
The function codes are listed in the Manual "PROFOX Device integration Modbus
RTU".
PROFOX actuators with fieldbus interface are basically equipped with an additional
I/O interface. 3 digital inputs are available via the I/O interface (default: 24 V DC)
and (depending on the equipment) an analogue 0/4
For this combined version, operation commands can be executed via fieldbus and
the inputs of the of the I/O interface.
For manual change-over between the fieldbus interface and the I/O interface, a digital
input must be configured.
