Torque switching

Limit
The actuator switches off once the set end positions (OPEN/CLOSED) have been
reached.
When switching off in end position, the overrun of the actuator must always be
accounted for. Overrun [1] is the travel from switching off until complete standstill.
The overrun of PROFOX actuators is relatively low thanks to the fact that it is a
variable speed actuator.

Torque
The actuator switches off in the end position via torque seating.
For this, the torque switching has to be set to the tripping torque specified by the
valve manufacturer. When reaching the end position, the torque increases within the
valve seat. Once the set torque is reached, the actuator switches off.
Overload protection of the valve across the overall travel
Tripping in end positions (for PRM_578 End position CLOSED or PRM_9 End
position OPEN = Torque)
Setting as desired in Newtonmetre Nm or in Pounds per foot ft-lb
