Open the clamps and remove the waste ink
tubes.

Remove the rear cover fixing screws.

Remove the rear cover.

Remove the waste ink tubes by gripping them
from below with a clean-room wiper as shown
in the illustration, and then use it to wipe off
the waste ink from the waste ink outlet.
Important:
Waste ink may drip from the waste ink tubes
or the waste ink outlets. Take care when
performing these operations.

Attach the caps that you removed during setup
to the waste ink outlets.

Transporting the Printer

After making preparations for transportation, use
protective materials and packing materials to protect
the printer from vibrations and shocks, and pack it in
the same condition as when it was purchased.
