What to do
Check the following points.
The USB memory stick is corrupt.
If it is corrupt, use another USB memory stick.
There is not enough free space on the USB memory stick or the maximum number
of readable files (999) has been exceeded
Delete any unnecessary files and so on.
The USB memory stick was removed from the printer while data was being
written/read
Before removing the USB, make sure that the USB memory stick light is not
flashing or lit.
Input the correct value in the IP address or the default gateway. If you do not know the
correct values, check with your network administrator.
Firmware update failed, and the printer started in recovery mode.
Follow the steps below to update the firmware again.
1. Connect the printer directly to the computer using a USB cable. (Updates cannot be
performed over a wired LAN connection while the printer is in recovery mode.)
2. Download the latest firmware from the Epson website, and then start the update.
