Transporting the Printer
For transporting the printer, be sure to follow the instructions below to prevent ink leakage
under the reduced pressure occurring during air transportation.

Make sure the
after the printer has finished its operations.

Open the ink cartridge cover.
The valve inside the printer is closed by opening the ink cartridge cover while the
printer is turned on. To prevent ink leakage during transportation, be sure to perform
this procedure.

Disconnect the power cable from the inlet while the ink cartridge cover
is open.

Disconnect the power cable from the printer.

Close the ink cartridge cover.

Fix the ink cartridge cover with tape, as shown in the illustration below, to
prevent the ink cartridge cover from opening during transportation.

Do not turn the printer upside down or on its side when packed and
being transported.
Be sure to transport the printer with an ink cartridge installed.
CAUTION

(POWER) LED is turned on. (Wait about 10 seconds
