Combine spacers according to the type of
platen being used and the thickness of the
media.
"Table of Supported Label Scales and
Media Thickness" on page 141
The letters A or B are stamped on the side
of the spacers. When using two spacers, stack
them as shown in the illustration so that the
letters can be read.

Lift the platen gap lever and attach a spacer.

Loosen the fixing lever while lifting the
shown in the illustration.

Release the part that was lifted in the previous
step, and then tighten the fixing lever again to
secure the platen gap lever.

Loosen the fixing lever.

Move the lever to set the scale to the desired
position.

highest; the higher the number, the lower the
platen.
