Replacing boards and components

SIREPHOS

NOTE
Remove the laser targeting device, if present.
Remove the dose measurement chamber, if present.
Remove the collimator.
Disconnect the SIREPHOS plug.
Remove the ground screw for the protective conductor.
Remove the rubber stop of the C-arm on the SIREPHOS side. The screws that secure
the SIREPHOS are now visible.
Remove the SIREPHOS screws. When doing this, have a second person hold the
X-ray tube unit.
Place the new X-ray tube unit on the guide bolts and secure it with both Allen screws.
Ensure that all cables are routed properly.
Reconnect the SIREPHOS plug and secure it.
Reconnect the protective conductor using the ground screw.
Do not install the rubber stop yet.
Reinstall the collimator and connect it.

If these guidelines are not followed, minor to moderate injury,
especially to the hands, can occur.
Follow the notes concerning the C-arm carbon fiber
structure.
Only applies to SIREMOBIL Iso-C with I.I. 27 cm (11"):
Depending on country-specific regulations, a limitation of
the maximum air kerma rate at a distance of 30 cm from the
I.I. entrance shield to less than 50 mGy/min may be required
(e.g. Japan).
In this case an additional 0.1 mm Cu radiation filter needs to
be installed in the radiation output window of the SIREPHOS.
The 0.1 mm Cu filter can be ordered from spare part stock
with part no. 10358138. Additionally, new labels "add. filtr.
0.1mm Cu" are included with part no. 10358138. One of these
labels must be attached to the long side of the SIREPHOS
housing.
For SIREMOBIL Iso-C systems with I.I. 23 cm (9"), no addi-
tional 0.1 mm Cu filter needs to be installed. It is sufficient to
reduce the maximum air kerma rate by reducing the maxi-
mum tube current on these systems (see
