LRF 6042 Integrator Manual
6.7 PWR_SAFE signal pin#9
The use of this signal is required for reaching the "OFF Mode" (lowest power consumption mode). If the
"OFF Mode" is not consider by the integrator or unused, leave the pin#9 floating.
The PWR_SAFE (pin#9) signal acts like a shutdown pin. When a rising edge is detected on the PWR_SAFE
(pin#9), the module will turn onto the "OFF Mode" and will reach the lowest power consumption.
When the PWR_SAFE (pin#9) is set to GND or left floating the module goes into "Normal operating Mode".
There is a second way to bring the device into "Normal operating mode". When the device is in "OFF Mode",
it can be set to "Normal operating mode" when it receives any character over RS232_RX pin#21.
From the "Normal operating Mode", the module can reach the "OFF Mode" using the corresponding
command, see chapter 8.6.6
