LRF 6042 Integrator Manual
In general, range performance and accuracy is optimal with:
 Good visibility,
 Sunlight is low or out of the measurement direction,
 Bigger targets,
 Higher target albedo/ reflectivity ,
 Target's surface is oriented perpendicular to the beam,
 Target is a fully connected body,
 Measurement is stable (tripod, stabilized, ...)
In general, range performance and accuracy is not optimal when:
 Poor visibility,
 Measuring against the sun direction,
 Smaller targets,
 Poor reflective materials,
 Mirror-like surfaces,
 Dispersed target (clouds, fog, cables...),
 Measurement unstable because of shaking, vibrations, jitter, ...
