Press the frame halves against the edge of the cut-
out and screw down using two appropriate screws
(not included with delivery) (Fig� 7-2)�

 The sealing of the interfaces in the floor cut-out
means that an additional seal between the frame
halves and the floor is not required�
If the vehicle manufacturer stipulates a seal, surplus
sealing material, particularly detached threads, must
be removed� Do not use flammable or heat-sensitive
materials for the seal�
 The opening can be made for the roof cowl in the
roof of the vehicle once the floor cut-out has been
made� This prevents borings falling into the already
installed heater�
Make the opening for the roof cowl� See the Chapter
"Installing the roof cowl"�

Installing the installation box

2.6.1 Preparing the installation box
Breakthroughs are pre-punched in the installation box
(Fig� 8-1) for the exhaust duct�
Left-hand installation = (Fig� 8-4), Right-hand installa-
tion = (Fig� 8-6)�
The exhaust duct of the S 5004 heater can also be led
through from the side (Fig� 8-3) or (Fig� 8-7) if the instal-
lation depth is low�
If a Truma fan is being installed, remove the circular
breakthrough (Fig� 8-2) and pre-assemble the fan on the
installation box in accordance with the supplied installa-
tion instructions�
If the Ultraheat additional heater is being installed,
remove the rectangular breakthrough (Fig� 8-5) and
pre-assemble the additional heater in accordance with
the supplied installation instructions�

The support (Fig� 9-1) is fitted to the installation box
(Fig� 9-1) for transportation� The support can be re-
moved for subsequent tasks�
Press the white latching lugs (Fig� 9-2) on the right
and left of the support slightly outwards and remove
the support from the (Fig� 9-3) mounting supports�

Remove the control rod (Fig� 10-1) from the trans-
port bracket (Fig� 10-2)�
