Installation options

The Truma E-Kit can be attached directly to the Truma VarioHeat
or be installed in the warm air distribution system of the
Truma VarioHeat.

Figure 6
Place the Truma E-Kit as far as possible on to the warm air
outlet (2) of the Truma VarioHeat and screw the mounting
bracket (1) to the floor or wall of the vehicle with two screws
(5.5x25 mm). The arrows on the Truma E-Kit indicate the

Separate installation space

If the Truma E-Kit is installed in the warm air distribution sys-
tem, it can be installed in a separate space. The circulated air
intake of the Truma VarioHeat must be fed through the instal-
lation space of the Truma E-Kit. Circulated air intake must take
place from the living room (not the rear storage locker) to the
installation space via one large or several smaller openings
with an overall area of at least 150 cm². If a grille (not sup-
plied) is installed, the same requirements regarding the cross
section through which the air is sucked in (150 cm²) must be
observed.

Installing the Truma E-Kit in the warm air
distribution system
If the Truma E-Kit is installed in the warm air distribution
system, a duct adapter (available separately) must be
used.
Insert the duct adapter (3) into the Truma E-Kit until both snap
locks (4) engage in the housing. The duct adapter (3) can also
be screwed to the recesses in the housing of the Truma E-Kit
with two screws (2.9x13 mm).

Truma VarioHeat and into the Truma E-Kit as far as it goes
and screw the mounting bracket (1) to the floor or wall of the
vehicle with two screws (5.5 x 25 mm). During installation,
pay attention to the flow direction of the warm air.
