Installing the heater interior part
2.7.1
Repositioning the thermostat sensor
This work step is only necessary for left-hand
installation�
The thermostat sensor must always be fitted to the
front of the heater (room side)� Depending on the in-
stallation position (right-hand or left-hand installation),
the thermostat sensor can be fitted on both sides of the
heat exchanger�
To ensure correct temperature control, the thermostat
sensor (Fig� 21-2) and capillary pipe (Fig� 21-3) must not
touch against the heat exchanger or heater cover or be
bent�
Carefully remove the heat screen (Fig� 21-1) with the
temperature sensor at the snap-in clips (Fig� 21-4)
from the pins (Fig� 21-5)�
Carefully bring the heat screen, thermostat sensor
and capillary pipe to the opposite side (mirror-invert-
ed) of the heat exchanger�
Place the heat screen with thermostat sensor on the
opposite pins and snap into position�

2.7.2 Screwing down the heater
If necessary, reinforce the floor structure at the
screw-in points using wooden battens, for example�
Using 5 screws (5�5 mm x 25 mm) (Fig� 22-1), se-
cure the base (Fig� 22-2) to the prepared points in
the corners and secure in the middle at the front�

2.7.3 Installing the control rod
Insert the control rod from below through the sup-
port opening (Fig� 23-4)�
Press the control rod from above into the safety pilot
valve (Fig� 23-4) and snap into position�

Removing the auto ignitor
The auto ignitor can be removed to create space
when installing the exhaust duct� It is then installed

again�
Remove the auto ignitor (Fig� 24-1) with the heat

screen from the bracket (Fig� 24-2)�
Remove the cable at the plug connections (Fig� 24-3)
and (Fig� 24-4)�
