 The lighting is supplied with power via the TEB-3
fan� If the appliance S 3004 / S 5004 is operated
without the TEB-3 fan, a separate 12 V line (part
no� 30090-38100) from the fuse-protected on-board
power supply must be routed for the lighting (alter-
nating current ripple <1�2 Vss)�
2.13.3 Fitting the cover
Fit the cover (Fig� 34-1) to the support (Fig� 34-5) and
engage� Ensure that the cables are routed (Fig� 34-6)
without kinking and do not become trapped�
Insert the control knob (Fig� 34-2) in the control knob
bushing (Fig� 34-3) and fit in this way to the control
rod (Fig� 34-4) so that the marking is pointing to-
wards position "0"�

 Depending on the installation position (right- or left-
hand installation), a mica window (Fig� 35-1) remains
open in the cover (Fig� 35-2)� The burner flame can
be observed through this window� The other mica
window is closed by a Truma logo (Fig� 35-3)�

2.14 Finishing work

2.14.1 Type plate
Indicate the year when the equipment was first put
into operation with a cross on the type plate� The
type plate is located on the base�

2.14.2 Sticker
Stickers with warnings or additional information are en-
closed with the appliance�
Affix the stickers in a location on the vehicle that is
clearly visible to all users�
 Missing stickers can be requested from Truma�
2.14.3 Gas check
The entire gas system in the vehicle must be checked
for leaks by an expert before starting it up for the first
time (using the pressure drop method in accordance
with EN 1949)�
Make sure that the gas system has been expertly
installed�
Check the gas system for leaks�
Make sure that the exhaust gas system (cowl) has
been expertly installed�
2.14.4 Function check
Insert the battery in the auto ignitor (see operating
instructions)�
Attach the cover (see operating instructions)�
