7.11 Open Channel Monitoring (OCM)
Application information
• Designed to be installed directly into pipelines and manholes
• Leopold Lagco may be classed as a rectangular Palmer-Bowlus flume
• Sized by pipe (sewer) diameter
• For rated flows under free flow conditions, the head is measured at a point upstream
referenced to the beginning of the converging section. Refer to the following table:
