Checking the static sag of the shock absorber

Position the sag gage in the rear axle and measure the distance to
marking SAG on the rear fender.

Finishing work

Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. (

Measure dimension
of rear wheel unloaded. (

Hold the motorcycle upright with aid of an assistant.
–
Measure the distance again between the rear axle and marking SAG
on the rear fender using the sag gage.

Note the value as dimension
