Removing the shock absorber

Preparatory work
–
Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. (

Remove the frame protector. (
–
Remove the right side panel. (
–
Remove main silencer. ( p. 66)
Main work

Remove screw .
–

Remove fitting .

Raise the swingarm slightly to be able to remove the screws
more easily.

Remove screws .
–
Pull off foot brake cylinder from the push rod.
–
Remove the connecting link of the chain.
–
Take off the chain.
Info
Cover the components to protect them against damage.

Remove nut and the swingarm pivot.
–
Push the link fork back and secure it against falling over.
