. Remove the Side Cover on the right-hand
side of the printer by loosening the two screws
located on the inside top of this cover and lifting
the cover straight up (see illustration on
page 81).

. Close the Top Cover and verify that the
printer is properly connected to your computer.

. Insert the printer driver diskette into your
computerÕs disk drive.

. From the DOS prompt, type one of the
following commands according to the type of
ribbon you have installed in the printer. Typing
such a command will send the sensor calibration
data to your printer.
For the Resin Thermal or Wax Thermal ribbons,

For the A/A4-Super Dye Sub ribbon, type:

. Go into the Chooser and select the Color
Sign Printer driver and the port to which the
printer is attached (Printer Port, Modem Port,
Hurdler).
