Connecting Cables to the ADA-UA Unit
Cable terminal connectors are located on the right side of the ADA-UA Unit. Cables
should be connected on this unit before installing the unit on the Multiline Terminal.

Cut off the plug on one end of the cable.
Locate the adapter terminals on the right side of the unit as illustrated in Figure 6-
42: ADA-UA Unit.
Remove the cap on the adapter terminal to expose the metal receptacle. Push the
cable in the applicable receptacle, and replace the cap. Line up the slot on the cap
with the slot on the metal receptacle to ensure proper contact. Refer to Figure 6-
43: Attaching Cables to the ADA-UA Unit.

Insulate the end of the cable that needs to be shielded with insulating tape.Table 6-
