ADA-UA Unit (Ancillary Device Adapter)
Ancillary Device Adapters allow connection of a recording device to DTU-type
Multiline Terminals.
When installing an ADA-UA Unit, first connect the cables to the ADA-UA Unit, set the
dip switches, and then install the ADA-UA Unit on the Multiline Terminal.

Installing an ADA-UA Unit on a Multiline Terminal
a)
Unplug the telephone cord from the Multiline Terminal.
b)
Prepare Multiline Terminal for adapter installation. Refer to Section 2
Preparing Multiline Terminal for Adapter Installation.
c)
Plug the ADA-UA Unit connector into the receptacle connector on the back
of the Multiline Terminal. Snap the ADA-UA Unit into the hooks on the
Multiline Terminal to secure it.

Replace base plate.
e)
Lead the audio cable out through the groove on the base cover. Plug in the
telephone cord.
