8.8 Taking scout image or 2D views (LAT, PA or LAT-PA)

If you need to move the image volume to the front or back, do one of the
following:
Move the thumb wheel that is located on the underside of the patient
support table
Move the positioning joystick towards you or away from you
The side light (Y laser, i.e. the image volume centre as seen from the side)
will move accordingly on your patient's face.
NOTE
FOR PROGRAMS TOOTH AND TEETH:
The incisor light indicates the front edge of the image volume when the front
position is selected.
NOTE
Moving the positioning joystick switches the incisor light off.
NOTE
You can switch the functions on and adjust the preset exposure values as
described in section "Programs (2100)" on page 62.
