When the installation has completed, print a test page.

Insert the included DVD to the PC, and install the driver.

Select [System Preferences] from the Apple menu.

Select [IPP (Internet Printing Protocol)] in [Protocol].

Input the IP address of this machine in [Address].

Input "ipp" in [Cue].

Communication encryption (IPSec)

You can encrypt the communication between your PC and this machine.
Encrypt the communication with IPSec. When IPSec is enabled, all applications are encrypted using IPSec.
You can specify 50 hosts per IP address. Any access to this machine from an unregistered host will be
denied. Any attempt to access an unregistered host will be invalidated.
Set up your PC after setting up this machine in advance.
You need to prepare a pre-shared key beforehand.
Setting up this machine
To enable IPSec, it is necessary to configure the machine from the web page first.
When IPSec is enabled, any communication with the host not specified in this step will be denied.
 IPSec communication is done when IPSec is set for this machine and the host. If IPSec is not set on the host, IPSec
communication will not be done.
 Be sure to make a note of the values you specify in this step. They will be required to configure IPSec settings on a
PC.
