Installing a 3.5-Inch Drive into the
Third-height, 5.25-Inch Drive Bay
1. Turn off the workstation and any external drives. Disconnect the power
cord from the grounded AC outlet. Disconnect the network cable and
any external devices from the system. Then remove the workstation
access panel.
IMPORTANT: On a power-managed system, the power cord must be
disconnected from the grounded AC outlet.
Install one guide screw on the right side of the drive 2.

Insert the drive into the adapter 1 so that the guide screw aligns in the

slot 2, then attach with the two retaining screws.
Snap on the brace 3.

Insert the brace into the adapter side tray slots 4.
