Solution
Make sure the network driver is
loaded and that the driver
parameters match the
configuration of the network
controller.
Select the Network icon at the
Control Panel.
Under the Computer Setup
Advanced menu, change the
resource settings for the board.
Verify that the driver was not
accidentally deleted when the
drivers for a new expansion board
were installed.
Reinstall the network driver using
the Compaq SmartStart for
Workstations CD.
Reinstall the network driver using
the Compaq SmartStart for
Workstations CD.
Verify that the cable is securely
attached to the network connector
and that the other end of the cable
is securely attached to the correct
device.
