If the outdoor unit is powered separately, turn off the outdoor unit switch on the
PDF.
Step 2 Reclaim all the refrigerant from the system using a refrigerant reclaiming device
to ensure that there is no pressure inside the system.
Step 3 Open the top cover, front panel, and left front panel.
Step 4 Cut off the cable ties for the filter dryer using diagonal pliers, weld both ends of
the dryer using a welding tool, and remove the filter dryer.
To avoid burning the internal components, other pipes, thermal insulation foam,
power cables, and labels, take protective measures, such as spreading wet cloth,
around the welding position.
Step 5 Weld the new dryer into the pipe and secure it using cable ties.
Step 6 Perform a leakage test with nitrogen. After checking that there is no leakage,
vacuumize the system and charge refrigerant.
Step 7 Reinstall the front panel, left front panel, and top cover.
Step 8 After power-on again, choose
set the compressor rotational speed to 3000 rpm.
Step 9 Choose Run > Device Run State to read the suction pressure, discharge pressure,
and EEV suction superheat degree. Check whether they are within the normal
ranges and whether there is no abnormal alarm.
Step 10 Choose
rotational speed to 0 rpm.
Step 11 Exit the diagnostic mode.
