Step 4 To replace the motor of the outdoor fan, perform the following steps:

Step 5 Install the new outdoor fan by performing the preceding steps in reverse order,
and connect the fan cable to the corresponding position in the electric control
board.
Step 6 Secure the outdoor fan cable using cable ties.
Step 7 Reinstall the fan guard.
Step 8 Power on the equipment, choose Maintain > Performance Maintain on the home
screen to access the performance maintain screen, and clear the total runtime of
outdoor fan 1.
Step 9 After startup, check that the smart cooling product is running properly and no
alarm is generated.

5.4.2.2 Replacing a Control Board

Prerequisites

Procedure
Step 1 Turn off the indoor unit power switch and the indoor unit switch in the PDF.
If the outdoor unit is powered separately, turn off the outdoor unit switch on the
PDF.
Step 2 Open the top cover and left front panel using a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 3 Use diagonal pliers to cut off the cable ties that secure the control board cables,
and remove the cable terminals from the control board.

Open the top cover and left front panel using a Phillips screwdriver.
Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the red clip of the fan terminal CN17
(upper fan, lower fan: CN19) of the control board, and then remove the
interconnection terminal.
Pull out the cable from the fan side.
Use a socket wrench to remove the four screws that secure the motor
mounting plate, and take out the motor and cable.
A control board needs to be replaced.
A spare control board of the same model is available and functional.
Tools: Phillips screwdriver, diagonal pliers, cable tie
Preparation: Power off the outdoor unit.
